Dr. Shoaib Ahmed's path to dentistry started early. Growing up, he spent his evenings at his father's dental practice, watching patients come in, leave smiling, and call his dad by name. That combination of science, art, and hands-on craft stuck with him. He went on to complete his dental education at Karachi University in 2008 and earned his DDS from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2013. Over the next 13 years, he built his clinical foundation in corporate dentistry before deciding it was time to build something of his own. Partnering with Dr. Hasib Saiyad, a fellow general dentist he met through that corporate experience, the two opened Hashtag Dental with a clear goal: practice dentistry the way they always believed it should be done, with time, clarity, and patients genuinely at the center of every decision.

That background shapes everything about how care is delivered here. Dr. Ahmed takes time to listen before recommending anything. He walks patients through their X-rays, explains what he finds, and lays out options without pressure. For patients who feel anxious in the dental chair, he offers nitrous oxide and oral medications before major procedures so the experience feels manageable from start to finish. Dr. Saiyad brings that same ownership mindset and commitment to a patient-first practice.
