Dr. Shoaib Ahmed
Dr. Shoaib Ahmed's path to dentistry started long before dental school. Growing up, he spent his evenings at his father's practice, watching patients leave with healthier smiles and a sense of trust in the doctor who cared for them. That early experience shaped everything about the way he practices today: taking time, listening carefully, and making sure every patient feels genuinely looked after.
Dr. Ahmed completed his dental education at Karachi University in 2008 and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2013. After graduating, he joined Aspen Dental, where he spent nearly nine years building a broad clinical foundation across a high volume of cases. That experience sharpened his skills across a wide range of general dentistry services and gave him a clear picture of what patients actually need from their dental care.
In 2022, Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Saiyad co-founded their first practice together. That experience running a patient-focused practice reinforced what both doctors had always believed: dentistry works best when patients feel heard, comfortable, and informed. Hashtag Dental, which opened in 2024, was built from the ground up to deliver exactly that, with a PPO and cash-friendly model, advanced technology, and a team that genuinely puts patients first.
With 13 years of clinical experience behind him, Dr. Ahmed brings a calm, methodical approach to every appointment. He takes time to go over your X-rays with you, explain what he's seeing, and walk you through your options without pressure. For patients who feel anxious about dental visits, he offers nitrous oxide and oral medications before major procedures, so you can feel at ease from the moment you sit down.
Outside the office, Dr. Ahmed enjoys biking with his kids, spending time with his family, and playing badminton. That same energy he brings to his personal life, warm, engaged, and genuinely present, is exactly what you'll find when you meet him at Hashtag Dental.

Dr. Hasib Saiyad
Dr. Saiyad earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Louisville.
Dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and building lasting relationships with his patients, Dr. Saiyad also proudly serves as a Major and Dental Officer in the United States Army Reserve.
Dentistry is a shared passion in his family, as his wife is also a dentist who recently completed her residency.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Saiyad enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending quality time with his two dogs.
He believes in living by the words of Roy T. Bennett:

Here's what to expect
We know that walking into a new dental office can feel uncertain, especially if it's been a while. At Hashtag Dental, your first visit is designed to be thorough, comfortable, and completely pressure-free. We take the time to understand your concerns, review your dental history, and make sure you leave with a clear picture of your oral health and a plan that works for you.
Patient Experience
When you arrive, our front desk team will greet you and get your paperwork and insurance verification taken care of. From there, a dental assistant will bring you back, get you settled, and take a full mouth series of X-rays along with a panoramic X-ray. We'll review your health history and check your blood pressure before Dr. Ahmed or Dr. Saiyad comes in to listen to your concerns, go over your imaging with you, and perform a comprehensive visual exam that covers your periodontal health, any signs of decay, and any areas that need attention. We do our best to address your most urgent concern on the same visit. After your exam, you'll meet with our treatment coordinator to go over your options, financing, and next steps, so you leave with a plan, not just a list of problems.
